The Daihatsu Luxio face-lift has been officially launched in Indonesia by PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) in Jakarta today.

The new model comes with fresh touches for the exterior and interior.

The price has also been increased.

The new model is available in three types - D (MT), X (MT) and X (AT).

The base variant costs Rp 157,550,000 (US$ 13,427) while the middle and top-end versions cost Rp 175,700,000 and Rp 186,800,000 respectively.

The price of the Type D has been increased by Rp 200,000 while that of the type X has been increased Rp 4.3 million from January 2014, said Amelia Tjandra, marketing director of PT ADM during the launch of the vehicle.

ADM senior director, Tsuneo Itagaki said since its debut in 2009, the Daihatsu Luxio got quite a positive response.

"Since its launch five years ago, Luxio sales reached 30,000 units across Indonesia", he said.

Engine - 3SZ-VE, 1,500 cc, DOHC, VVT-i putting out 97 PS and 13.7 Kg/m.

The new model is offered in five colours including Icy White, Midnight Black Metallic, Classic Silver Metallic, Dark Grey Metallic and Sonic Blue Metallic.
