Toyota Motor Philippines will today launch the all-new Wigo, an A-segment hatchback that will go wheel-to-wheel with cars such as the Mitsubishi Mirage, Hyundai i10, Chevrolet Spark and Suzuki Celerio.

The Wigo follows a familiar one-box design with a tall greenhouse area. The car features 14-inch alloy wheels, front foglamps and chrome garnish on the foglight surrounds.

Inside is an interior done in very dark gray plastic with faux-metal trim, available two-DIN audio units, power mirrors and electric power steering.

The Wigo measures 3,600 mm in length, 1,600 mm in width and 1,520 mm in height.

Wigo is powered by a 998 cc, three-cylinder engine.

The long-stroke engine generates 64 HP and 86 Nm.

As a participant in Indonesia's low-cost green car program, mandated fuel economy is at least 20 kilometres per litre.
