GWM Ora Thailand announces preparation to close 4 service centres

GWM Ora in Thailand is currently expanding at a slower pace. The reasons may be attributed to various dramas trending on social media or other marketing factors, which may have led to the closure of some centres.
Although the exact reasons are not clearly stated at this time, there is recent news that GWM Ora is preparing to close up to four centres.
The company will cease to operate these dealerships and deliver cars from September 30th onwards; however, it will still provide regular maintenance services, insurance claims, or car repairs at the affected centres.
Currently, GWM Ora Thailand still has new service centres in many locations, but some will be closing soon, which raises questions for many as to why this is happening.
The reasons could include aggressive competition from other car brands currently on the market, particularly in terms of pricing, technology, and appealing designs that attract consumers. Additionally, Great Wall itself has not introduced new products to the domestic market, which may also relate to marketing policies from the parent company in China. Therefore, we must keep an eye on the direction of GWM Ora Thailand's service centre solutions.
Let us hope that it does not follow the same pattern as previous brands that have gradually exited the Thai market, leaving only memories behind. This would mean that consumers who purchased products from that brand may be left stranded without any care, as has happened before.
