Honda NX 200 to now be available in Nepal.

Syakar Trading Company, the authorised distributor of Honda bikes in Nepal, is preparing for the launch of its newest adventure tourer.

The Honda NX 200 is a Honda Hornet 2.0 in an Urban Explorer avatar. It shares the mechanical and performance elements with the Hornet, except for the visual differences.

It is to be the most affordable Honda adventure tourer to debut in the Nepali market.

Design

Honda NX 200 takes on the mantel of an Urban Explorer.

The large front section attracts attention with its ADV-inspired fairings, Tall Wind Visor, and Cladded Body Panels. It sports a familiar LED headlamp with LED indicators integrated at the Knuckle Guards. The Under Cowl and Tyres get a minor revision.

Upswept Exhaust and Alloy Wheels are also the same. Nevertheless, these elements help elevate the styling and practical nature of the motorcycle. Honda NX 200 comes in four colour options: Red, Black, Blue, and Silver.

Performance

Honda NX 200 is powered by an 184.40cc, 4-stroke, Air-cooled, FI Engine. It generates a max power of 17.26 PS at 8500rpm and a max torque of 15.9 Nm at 6000rpm.

Moreover, it is mated to a 5-speed gearbox with a 12-litre fuel tank capacity. The overall engine configuration is the same as the CB200X.

Additional Details

The suspension setup is handled by new Golden Coloured USD Front Forks and Rear Monoshock.

It features Dual-Disc Braking with Single-Channel ABS at the front. The dimensions are 2035mm in length, 843mm in width, and 1248mm in height. Moreover, the wheelbase is 1355mm.

There are slight changes in the dimensions. It is 12mm shorter, 60mm wider, and 184mm taller compared to the Hornet 2.0. Honda NX 200 gets a 167mm ground clearance. And, the kerb weight sits at 147kg, about 5 kg heavier.
