IIMS Surabaya 2026 to be held on 26th-31st May

Organisers are expanding the reach of automotive exhibitions across regional markets in Indonesia, with Dyandra Promosindo preparing to host the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2026 in Surabaya, East Java, from May 26th-31st, 2026.
Rudi MF, Project Manager of IIMS 2026, stated that the implementation of IIMS Surabaya 2026 is expected to match the results recorded at the Jakarta edition, in terms of transaction value and visitor numbers.
"For IIMS 2026 in Surabaya, the target is IDR 265 billion (US$ 15.6 million) in transactions during the six days of the event," said Rudi in Jakarta, as quoted on March 15th, 2026. The number of visitors to the event, which will take place at Grand City Convex Surabaya, is targeted to exceed 32,000 during the exhibition period.
This year, IIMS Surabaya will adopt a concept similar to that of the Jakarta event under the theme 'IIMS Sportainment', with the inclusion of sports activities such as mini soccer and running. In addition, the organisers will present the IIMS Squad and continue several programmes, including IIMS Infinite Live and IIMS Infinite Show.
For reference, IIMS Surabaya 2026 will take place from 10:00 to 18:00 WIB on May 26th; from 12:00 to 22:00 WIB on May 27th; and from 10:00 to 22:00 WIB on May 28th-31st, 2026. Following Surabaya, the IIMS 2026 Series will continue with IIMS Balikpapan, scheduled for October 21st-25th, 2026, at the BSCC Dome in Balikpapan. The series is scheduled to conclude with IIMS Garage Manado, which will be held from November 4th-8th, 2026, at Manado Town Square.
Meanwhile, the total number of visitors during the IIMS 2026 event, held from February 5th-15th, 2026, at JIExpo Kemayoran in Jakarta, was recorded at 580,250. The transaction value at the exhibition reached IDR 9.5 trillion, according to the latest updated recapitulation data. This figure increased from the previous record of IDR 8.7 trillion.
"After the event, all transactions were summarised, and the latest data shows IDR 9.5 trillion. This reflects sales from cars, motorcycles, supporting industries, and even F&B (food and beverages)," he concluded.
Referring to the performance of the national automotive market, Gaikindo data indicates that wholesale car sales grew by 9.9% year-on-year in January-February 2026. Retail car sales during the same period increased by 8.45% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
