Motor Image Enterprises, the distributor of Subaru in Singapore, has unveiled three new models at the Singapore Motor Show 2026.
The vehicles displayed include the Solterra XT, Subaru's first electric vehicle to be introduced in Singapore, the upcoming e-Outback, and the Forester e-Boxer Hybrid Sport Edition.
Built on the e-Subaru Global Platform, the Solterra XT is powered by a dual-motor drivetrain producing a total of 252 kW (343 PS) and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.1 seconds. The Solterra XT is equipped with the X-Mode feature, which optimises power delivery for traction on off-road surfaces.
Externally, the Solterra XT has a two-tone colour scheme with black fenders. It has a ground clearance of 211 mm and a versatile powertrain for handling various road conditions.
Internally, the vehicle features an oval steering wheel for visibility of the 7.0-inch LCD driver's display. A 14-inch central touchscreen manages navigation and entertainment functions. Audio is delivered through a 10-speaker Harmon/Kardon system.
The Solterra XT includes driver-assist systems as part of the Subaru Safety Sense suite. These include Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, and Lane Departure Alert, which support maintaining a safe following distance and lane positioning on expressways.
The e-Outback, scheduled for launch in Q2 2026, was also displayed. It is powered by dual motors producing a combined output of 280 kW (381 PS) and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds.
Built on the same platform as the Solterra XT, the e-Outback provides a larger and more powerful option while maintaining similar capability to the Solterra XT.
The Forester e-Boxer Hybrid Sport Edition was also introduced at the show. It features STI front and roof spoilers, redesigned wheels, and a 'Sport' emblem. The Subaru Solterra XT has been officially launched in Singapore, with prices starting from SGD 228,800 (COE inclusive).
