Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) is preparing to introduce a new vehicle to the Indonesian market.

The information was disclosed through Suzuki Indonesia's official social media account on 2nd September 2025. The video features the taillights of a Suzuki model resembling those of the XL7. The caption states, "The kind of black that makes you want to go black," which could also be interpreted as "The colour black makes you want to go back."

At the end of the video, the word Kuro - Japanese for the colour black - appears. A Suzuki sales representative confirmed that a new product will be launched soon.

"Suzuki has a new product, the XL7, with a slight exterior change. We are still waiting for the launch date," the representative stated on 2nd September 2025.

Another Suzuki salesperson indicated that the forthcoming model will be a new variant of the XL7.

"The XL7 Smoke Kuro has similar details to the XL6 in India, except for the taillights. This version will only be available for the Alpha model. Consequently, there will be a price increase," the salesperson explained.

When asked for confirmation, Suzuki declined to disclose details about the launch but confirmed that preparations for a new model are underway.

"We will provide further information. Essentially, Suzuki Indonesia is preparing its newest vehicle for the Indonesian market," said Harold Donnel, 4W Marketing Director of Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS).

Currently, Suzuki offers the XL7 in eight variants, ranging from the Zeta Automatic, priced at IDR 275 million (US$ 16,780), to the highest-spec Beta Automatic Hybrid, priced at IDR 297 million.

The teaser indicates that Suzuki is preparing to introduce a special edition of the XL7 for the Indonesian market, expanding the existing product line-up of eight variants.
