TVS Raider 125 FI has officially launched in Nepal.
Jagadamba Motors, the authorised distributor of TVS motorcycles in Nepal, has introduced the much-anticipated "wicked ride" in its fuel-injected (FI) version.
The TVS Raider 125 continues to be one of the best value-for-money motorcycles, as evidenced by its strong sales record.
In its latest upgrade, the TVS Raider 125 is equipped with an Eco-Thrust FI Engine, Riding Modes, Intelligent Auto Start-Stop Technology, and Side Stand Engine Cut-Off.
TVS Nepal has launched the new TVS Raider 125 alongside the TVS NTorq 125 Standard Disc and TVS Radeon 110, all featuring the latest BS6-compliant FI engine with E20 fuel compatibility.
The TVS Raider 125 boasts a distinctive design for its segment.
Front of the vehicle is highlighted by a large animalistic LED headlamp with signature LED DRLs, and halogen side indicators are integrated above the headlamps.
The side profile features sporty styling with a muscular fuel tank, enhanced by three-tone colours and a 3D TVS emblem. Additional design elements include a body-coloured engine cowl, split seat setup, and aluminium grab rail. The rear section, while simpler, retains a bold look with its split-type LED tail light.
It is available in two colour options: Red and Black.
The TVS Raider 125 is powered by a 124.8cc, single-cylinder, 3-valve, air-oil-cooled FI engine.
The FI engine produces a maximum power of 11.38 PS at 7500 rpm and maximum torque of 11.2 Nm at 6000 rpm. In contrast, the carburettor engine version generates a maximum power of 12.9 PS at 7500 rpm and maximum torque of 11.5 Nm at 6000 rpm.
Both engines are paired with a 5-speed gearbox and come with a 10-litre fuel tank capacity.
The FI version also includes additional features such as riding modes, intelligent auto start-stop technology, and side stand engine cut-off. The bike comes with a 5-step adjustable monoshock suspension, USB charging, and wider tyres.
The suspension is handled by telescopic front forks and adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear. It is fitted with a front disc brake and a rear drum brake, along with Synchronised Braking Technology (SBT) as standard. It has a ground clearance of 180 mm and weighs 123 kg.
The TVS Raider 125 price in Nepal starts at NPR 270,900 (US$ 2,020) for the carburettor version and NPR 292,900 for the fuel injection version.
This model includes practical features like TVS IntelliGO, riding modes, and side stand engine cut-off.
