Updated AVATR 12 launched

AVATR, the premium new energy vehicle brand jointly developed by Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL, recently put the 2024 version of the AVATR 12 onto the market, offering four trims with prices ranging from CNY 265,800 to 400,800 (US$ 36,745 to 55,295).
Compared to the previous AVATR 12 line-up, a new entry-level model has been added, further lowering the starting price.
In terms of appearance, the new AVATR 12 inherits the design of the original model. The dimensions of the new car are 5,020mm in length, 1,999mm in width, and 1,460(1,450)mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,020mm.
Regarding the interior, the new car comes standard with a 15.6-inch central control screen paired with an LCD instrument panel and built-in HarmonyOS system from Huawei.
The front seats are zero-gravity seats, offering heating, ventilation, massage, and other functions. In terms of configuration, the high-spec model will be upgraded to electronic external rear-view mirrors.
In terms of power, the new car offers a single-motor version with a maximum power of 230 kW and a peak torque of 370 Nm. The dual-motor version has a comprehensive power of 425 kW and a comprehensive torque of 650 Nm. The new car offers two CLTC-rated range options, 650km and 700km.
