Mazda Taiwan has introduced a minor refresh for the CX-3 compact crossover, maintaining its availability in the market despite the model's discontinuation in several other countries.
The CX-3, first launched in 2014, may have been discontinued in several global markets, but it continues to maintain a presence in Japan, Thailand, and Taiwan.
Mazda Taiwan announced on 3rd October 2025 that the compact crossover has received a minor refresh for the 2025 model year.
The line-up has been simplified to a single variant, the 20S Signature, which features additional equipment, updated styling, and a slightly reduced price of NTD 849,000 (US$28,000).
Compared with the previous 20S Proactive Touring, the new 20S Signature is priced NTD 10,000 lower and incorporates several enhancements.
Exterior revisions include piano black door trim, black bumper surrounds, and silver accents on the front bumper and side skirts. The model also upgrades from 16-inch wheels to two-tone 18-inch alloy wheels, enhancing the CX-3's sportier and more premium appearance.
The interior of the 20S Signature has been upgraded with additional comfort and technology features. Standard equipment now includes leather seats with 10-way power adjustment and two memory settings, a Bose premium audio system, and new safety technologies such as 360-degree surround-view monitoring and front four-eye radar sensors.
Other features include LED headlights and taillights, Push Start/Smart Keyless entry, automatic climate control, a 7-inch infotainment display, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Mazda's Active Driving Display.
The CX-3 20S Signature is powered by a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated inline-four engine delivering 156 PS and 205 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission with Sport mode.
Fuel consumption is officially rated at 15.3 km/ litre, maintaining a balance of efficiency and performance.
Despite being on the market for more than a decade, the CX-3 continues to appeal to urban drivers and younger buyers seeking a compact and stylish SUV.
With this refresh, the updated features, and reduced pricing, Mazda Taiwan aims to sustain consumer interest ahead of the model's expected eventual discontinuation.
