The Avatr 012 made its debut and opened for pre-sales at the 2024 Avatr Brilliant Night event in Shanghai, China.

It has been co-designed with Kim Jones, the artistic director of Dior and Fendi, the Avatr 012 is priced at CNY 700,000 (US$ 98,100) and is limited to 700 units. Each purchase includes a Dior tote bag.

The Avatr 012 shares its dimensions with the 2024 Avatr 12, measuring 5,020 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,450 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,020 mm.

It is powered by Huawei's DriveONE system, paired with CATL's 5C Qilin battery pack. This setup allows for fast charging from 30% to 80% in just 10 minutes.

Although the full powertrain specifications haven't been officially disclosed, reports indicate a total system output of 425 kW (570 PS) and a torque of 650 Nm.

The front motor is rated at 195 kW (261 PS) with 280 Nm of torque, while the rear motor provides 230 kW (308 PS) and 370 Nm of torque. The car boasts a CLTC range of 650 km.

Avatr 012 rides on 21-inch forged mirror rims and features digital side mirrors along with hidden door handles. The exterior maintains the design language of the Avatr 12, highlighted by a "liquid silver" paint finish.

The front end sports split E-shaped headlights, a HALO screen composed of 10,500 lamp beads, and a centrally positioned lidar in the grille, which can open and close for heat dissipation.

Two additional lidars are located on the fenders, enhancing the vehicle's advanced driving assistance capabilities through Huawei's Qiankun ADS 3.0. The rear design includes slim split taillights and a tail wing.

Inside, the Avatr 012 retains the layout of the Avatr 12, featuring a warm colour scheme powered by Huawei's HarmonyOS 4.

The interior is minimalistic, with reduced physical buttons, a polygonal steering wheel, a 15.6-inch central control screen, and a 35.4-inch 4K integrated screen for both the instrument panel and multimedia system. Two smaller screens serve the digital side mirrors.

Customisation options are available for the logo on the steering wheel and B-pillar. The headrests bear the Avatr and Kim Jones exclusive logo.

The vehicle also includes a starry skylight roof, and the second-row features independent seats covered in Nappa leather with an armrest, enhancing luxury and comfort.
