Lynk & Co, renowned for its success in the WTCR racing series, has officially launched its first fully electric sedan, the Z10 in China.
The Z10 is available in five versions, starting at CNY 202,800 (US$ 28,600).
For a limited time, a further discount of CNY 6,000 applies, reducing the starting price to CNY 196,800, making the Z10 CNY 62,200 cheaper than the Zeekr 001, in China.
Pricing:
- 400V 602km RWD Pro: CNY 196,800
- 400V 766km RWD Max: CNY 216,800
- 400V 766km RWD Smart Max: CNY 236,800
- 800V 806km RWD Smart Max: CNY 249,800
- 800V 702km AWD Smart Ultra: CNY 288,800
The Z10 is built on the SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) platform, which it shares with the Zeekr 001, and offers both 400V and 800V configurations.
Powered by lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, the base model features a 200 kW rear-wheel-drive motor and a 71 kWh battery, providing a CLTC range of 602 kilometres. Higher-end variants come with a 95 kWh battery; the RWD Smart Max version delivers a CLTC range of 806 kilometres.
The flagship model, equipped with dual motors (310 kW rear and 270 kW front), accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and can recharge up to 573 kilometres of range in 15 minutes with the 800V fast-charging system.
The Z10's design includes split LED daytime running lights at the front and a continuous LED light strip at the rear. Its coupe-like shape, with a sloping roofline and rising beltline, results in a drag coefficient of 0.198 Cd.
Measuring 5028 mm in length, 1966 mm in width, and 1468 mm in height, with a 3005 mm wheelbase, the Z10 fits into the mid-to-large sedan category. It will be available in silver, red, blue, grey, and black.
The Z10 features a front double-wishbone and rear multi-link suspension. The top model includes dual-chamber air suspension with a 30 mm ride height adjustment and dynamic all-wheel-drive torque distribution.
It is the first Chinese production car to incorporate an AMD chipset. The AMD V2000A chip used in the Z10 provides 1.8 times the computing power of the mainstream Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295. This chipset powers the 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a 15.4-inch floating multimedia display, and the AR-HUD.
The Z10 supports Flyme Link for sharing accounts and ecosystem features between the car and a smartphone. It also offers Co Pad functionality, which connects to a Co Pad tablet, allowing rear-seat passengers to access entertainment and control in-car functions.
It features a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel. The leather-upholstered seats offer heating, ventilation, and massage functions for both front and rear passengers. The Harman Kardon sound system includes 23 speakers and a 1,600W amplifier, including speakers embedded in the front seats' headrests, utilising WANOS panoramic sound technology.
For autonomous driving, the top configuration includes 30 high-performance sensors and uses the Lotus Robotics system, which has been validated in 30 countries and supports up to 33 driver assistance functions. Highway NOA is available at launch, with urban NOA to be added via future OTA updates.
The Lynk & Co Z10 is set to rival popular models such as the Zeekr 001, BYD Han EV, and Xiaomi SU7.
