NIU RQi to launch at NADA Auto Show in local market

The NIU RQi is set to launch soon in Nepal.
Eco Infinity, the authorised distributor of NIU electric bikes and scooters in Nepal, has announced the upcoming launch of the NIU RQi on its Facebook page.
Design
The RQi features a muscular yet sporty design with artistic elements that do not compromise its form factor. The front boasts a clean look with a circular DRL and LED headlamp, flanked by slim indicators positioned above the headlamp. A camera situated above the headlamp allows the rider to record footage.
Side profile of the vehicle is stylish, characterised by innovative design language and striking geometric lines. The bulky shrouds on either side give the bike a muscular appearance.
The rear of the scooter is simple with an integrated LED headlamp and a split mudguard, while another camera is located above the taillight. Both front and rear cameras offer collision detection and automatic recording.
It features dual-tone colour coordination and is available in four colour options: green, blue, red, and brushed silver.
Performance
The NIU RQi is equipped with a 7500W in-house electric motor, which delivers a peak torque of 450 Nm with 93% power efficiency.
It is powered by a 72V36AH dual Lithium-Ion battery, providing a total output of 5.184 kWh. The battery can be fully charged in 4 hours for a single battery setup and 7 hours for the dual battery setup.
The RQi offers a range of 95-105 km on a single charge and can accelerate from 0-50 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. The number of riding modes is not currently specified.
Safety features
The RQi is equipped with ABS and traction control system (TCS). It also features Brembo brake callipers and Pirelli tyres for precise control and handling. Both Brembo and Pirelli are renowned internationally for their brake components and tyres, respectively.
