Thailand's electric vehicle market will see the opening of reservations for the Leapmotor B10, the company's first fully electric C-SUV, starting 10 October 2024.

Leapmotor, operated by PMA Automotive Manufacturing (PMA), has confirmed the start of reservations for the B10 on 10 October 2024. Special provisions are available for the initial group of customers.

Vehicle overview

The B10 is a joint development between Leapmotor and Stellantis, an international automotive group. It is built on a platform using Cell-to-Chassis 2.0 (CTC) technology, which integrates the battery pack into the vehicle structure. This configuration increases interior space, reduces weight, improves structural strength, and enables compliance with Euro NCAP 5-star safety standards.

Power and performance

The B10 is equipped with a single electric motor producing a maximum power of 218 PS and maximum torque of 240 Nm, with acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 8 seconds. Two battery options are available:

- Life version: 56.2 kWh, maximum range 462 km (NEDC standard)
- Style and Design versions: 67.1 kWh, maximum range 516 km (NEDC standard)

Both battery configurations support DC fast charging up to 168 kW, allowing charging from 30% to 80% in under 20 minutes.
