Autopro.com.vn, 17 Oct '25
Royal Enfield, the Indian motorcycle manufacturer, is reportedly preparing to re-enter Vietnam, generating renewed interest among the local motorcycling community.
According to sources within dealerships and sales consultants, the brand's official return could occur between late October and early November.
As of now, no official confirmation has been issued by Royal Enfield's global headquarters, and no authorised distributor in Vietnam has verified the information.
It remains uncertain which company will serve as the official importer and distributor of the brand upon its return.
Current product portfolio
Royal Enfield's product range covers several categories:
- Classic 350, Bullet 350, Meteor 350 - retro-styled motorcycles inspired by British designs.
- Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 - twin-cylinder motorcycles combining traditional styling with modern performance.
- Scram 411 and Himalayan 450 - adventure and scrambler models suitable for off-road and long-distance use.
- Guerrilla 450 - an urban roadster based on the Himalayan platform, targeting riders seeking practical performance.
Market outlook for a potential return
Should Royal Enfield confirm its return to Vietnam, it will enter a market that has evolved in recent years.
Vietnamese riders are now more familiar with mid-range and premium motorcycles, and interest in adventure and retro-style models has increased.
The brand's product reliability and updated technologies may allow Royal Enfield to attract riders who prefer mechanically simple motorcycles suitable for long-distance use.
Enthusiasts and previous owners are awaiting official confirmation and the reintroduction of Royal Enfield motorcycles in Vietnam.
